Metaltex Team Member in the Spotlight of the Swiss Indiaca Championship 2024
Successful weekend for Cristina Fontana, a team member at Metaltex Headquarters, who played in the Swiss Indiaca Championships in Schönenwerd (Canton of Solothurn) on May 25-26.
Two particularly intense days where the best teams from various Swiss cantons compete in the top national championship. Players ready to do anything to win a gold medal, which only those who surpass the group stages and semi-finals can aspire to.
On Saturday evening, after a long and exhausting day, Cristina – the main player of the mixed Over40 team of SFG Chiasso – climbed the podium and won a well-deserved silver medal.
On Sunday, reinforcing the women’s Over40 team of SFG Valle del Vedeggio, she reached the top and won the gold medal and the national title. Champion for three consecutive years!
