Metaltex’s 2022 Marketing Meeting: Unveiling New Products and Strengthening Our Bonds
From May 26 to 28, 2022, Metaltex held its annual Marketing Meeting in Switzerland: Ticino 2022, at the Hotel Serpiano with an enchanting view of Lake Lugano. This marked the first time in two years that colleagues were able to meet in person, having previously maintained contact online.
Around 50 colleagues hailing from 12 different countries attended the meeting, which had the main aim of introducing the new products and projects scheduled for launch in the upcoming years.
During the two-day meeting, Product Managers Anna Baldacci, Luca Bertolini, along with Marketing Manager Marco Morandi, gave several presentations of the latest novelties and undergoing projects of the main product categories for kitchen utensils, storage & organization, and laundry care, giving also information about the products that will be launched at the next Ambiente show in Frankfurt.
Metaltex’s Communications Manager, Rodrigo Marcos, presented of the packaging redesign that touches over 1,800 kitchen products. This big project includes updated graphics and die-cutting that will further optimize product planograms at the point of sale as well as reductions in packaging materials, especially plastic, for a greener perspective and complies with the new European regulations that come into force in 2023.
The meeting was not only an opportunity to present new projects and products but also to foster collaboration and camaraderie among the Metaltex branches. Colleagues shared their successes and exchanged ideas, which helped to strengthen the Metaltex community. In addition, meals and dinners were enjoyed together, providing a chance for everyone to celebrate and socialize.
Overall, the Marketing Meeting was a great success, with colleagues finally being able to meet in person after a long period of virtual communication. The event ended with the awarding of medals, which are part of the corporate culture, where Sergio Morandi, CEO of Metaltex, rewarded the employees who have dedicated more than a decade to the company, underlining and recognizing their commitment for their work.
