COMO – Full Marketing and Sales immersion
On 6 and 7 May 2005 at the Hotel Palace of Como (Italy), the annual Marketing Meeting of the sales managers of the Metaltex Group was staged.
Over 50 people from three continents convened to discuss market problems, goals, strategies and new products.
Talking of products, interest centered on:
• the new line of LONARDO kitchen accessories: a system of chromed steel elements to equip the kitchen walls
• the DOLCEFORNO line of cake moulds which, after the success achieved during the first six months from launching, will be extended with new models and materials
• the STIROLINE series of ironing boards and accessories, with interesting new prospects for the future
As regards merchandising, stock was taken of the situation of the new QUICK-BOX box program, the practical and innovative iron wire system to present household products on sales counters.
A Metaltex Meeting however is not just business. It’s also a chance to learn something more about the host country. An interesting boat trip on Lake Como, with enchanting views of small mooring berths, luxury villas and gardens full of flowers.
And to end with, a goodbye dinner in the glorious Villa Erba, once the home of the Visconti family.
